ADM: a significant increase in traffic throughout the network

On the occasion of the celebration of Aid Al Adha, which coincides with departures on summer vacation, the Moroccan National Motorway Company advises users to avoid certain time slots as much as possible. On the eve of Aid Al Adha, which coincides with departures for the summer holidays, the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) informs motorway users that the entire motorway network will experience a significant increase in traffic. And this, particularly during the following time slots: – Friday July 8, 2022 between 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. – Saturday July 9, 2022 between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. – Monday July 11, 2022, which will coincide with the return from the Aid Al Adha holidays, between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. For a safe and comfortable trip, ADM recommends that users organize their trips in advance, and find out about the instantaneous traffic situation by downloading the ADM TRAFIC application; to take breaks every two hours and check the condition of the tyres; not to occupy the Emergency Lane except in cases of extreme emergency; and check the remaining balance on their Jawaz Pass and recharge it before taking the highway. The objective is to avoid queues and maneuvers due to the discovery of the exhausted balance when switching to the automatic lane. For its part, to manage the heavy traffic experienced during this period and to offer a safe and pleasant trip to motorway users, ADM is organizing itself, like exceptional periods, in total vigilance mode which consists in particular in reinforcing teams responsible for traffic management and assistance, early maintenance of equipment and upkeep of infrastructure, temporary halt to major repairs to the motorway pavement, strengthening of communication with the user, in addition to the organization this year of a large #Twehechnakom operation materialized by a set of services and festive events to welcome Moroccans from around the world in the best conditions.
