Closing of summer camps for the benefit of maqdessis children in Morocco: Beneficiary children return to their homeland

The activities of the thirteenth edition of summer camps organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency for the benefit of 50 maqdessi children, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, under the sign “Edition of Al Inbiâat”, were closed with the return of the beneficiary children to their homeland. The parents and guardians of several child beneficiaries of the settlements expressed, on Saturday, their appreciation and gratitude to His Majesty King Mohammed VI for His considerable efforts in favor of the Palestinian cause in various political, economic and social fields. In statements to the press, they also expressed their gratitude to His Majesty the King for the sincere love they felt from the Moroccan people during their two-week stay in their second country. The Maqdessis children were welcomed, on their arrival in Al-Quds, from Casablanca, by the director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency office Acharif in Al-Quds, and the guardians of the children whose feelings intertwined between the joy of returning to Al-Quds and the difficulty of leaving Morocco, of which they have retained a good impression. The thirteenth edition of summer camps for the benefit of maqdessis children was organized by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency, under the High Patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Chairman of the Al-Quds Committee, from August 12 to 26 in the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Asilah, Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen and Larache. Like previous editions, the Agency has drawn up, in partnership with the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, a rich program for this edition, which has included the organization of educational trips for beneficiaries who have visited the most important historical monuments of the cities of Casablanca, Rabat, Tangier, Asilah, Tetouan, M'diq and Chefchaouen, as well as several important economic projects carried out by the Kingdom, in particular the Tanger-Med port, automobile factories, construction projects infrastructure, roads and dams. The summer camps ended with the organization of a reception in honor of the maqdessis children, which was marked in particular by the presentation of certificates of participation to the 50 girls and boys, who also carried out a symbolic operation of “watering” the olive trees of Al-Quds and visited the exhibition “Al-Quds and Palestine in the messages and speeches of HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful”.
