CNSS. Communication to the tourism sector: how to benefit from the Covid lump sum compensation for employees

The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) informs all actors carrying out their activities in the following tourism sub-sectors: – Classified accommodation establishments; -Travel agencies approved by the government authority in charge of tourism; – Classified tourist restaurants; -Tourist transport for persons authorized by the government authority in charge of transport; – Temporary work companies having contracts with employers in the aforementioned tourism sub-sectors, signed before the end of February 2020; impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, and who meet the conditions stipulated in Decree No. 2.21.966, that they can request the benefit of the lump sum indemnity for the benefit of their employees and trainees under contract for integration declared in February 2020 , including those who have been in a state of illness, maternity or work accident. This measure also applies to tourist guides with a professional card and professional tax, or who are registered in the register of auto-entrepreneurs and insured by the CNSS under Law 98.15 instituting medical coverage for the benefit of workers. non-employees, including those who have not previously benefited from the flat-rate allowance, provided that their situation is regularized and their work documents are renewed before March 31, 2022. The flat-rate allowance, financed by the special fund management of the Covid19 pandemic instituted under the instructions of His Majesty the King, covers the period from January 1 to the end of March 2022. Consequently, players in the tourism sector wishing to have their workers benefit from this lump sum compensation, as well as guides tourists, must make their declaration via the covid19.cnss.ma portal for the months of January and February 2022, from this Saturday, February 26 first until March 16, 2022, and for the month of March 2021, declarations can be made until April 16, 2022.
