Covid-19 compensation: Players in the tourism sector can declare their employees today

Declarations are made via the portal from this Saturday, February 26. Tourism companies impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and fulfilling the conditions stipulated by Decree No. 2-21-966 can request the benefit of the lump sum indemnity for the benefit of their employees and trainees under contract for integration declared in February 2020, including those who have been in a state of illness, maternity or work accident. Are concerned: Classified accommodation establishments, Travel agencies approved by the government authority in charge of tourism, Classified tourist restaurants, Tourist transport for people authorized by the government authority in charge of transport and temporary workers with contracts with employers in the aforementioned tourism sub-sectors, signed before the end of February 2020. This measure also applies to tourist guides who have a professional card and the professional tax, or who are registered in the register of auto-entrepreneurs and insured by the CNSS under Law 98.15 instituting medical coverage for the benefit of self-employed workers, including those who have not previously benefited from the lump sum indemnity, provided that their situation is regularized and their working documents be renewed before March 31, 2022. The lump sum, financed by the special management fund of the Covid19 pandemic instituted under High Instructions from His Majesty the King, covers the period from January 1 to the end of March 2022. Consequently, players in the tourism sector wishing to have their workers benefit from this lump sum compensation, as well as tourist guides , must make their declaration via the portal for the months of January and February 2022, from today until March 16, 2022, and for the month of March 2021, declarations can be made until April 16, 2022. On the other hand, for tourist guides who have regularized their situation and renewed their working documents before March 31, 2022, they have the possibility of declaring the aforementioned three months via the portal until April 16, 2022 .
