6 Days Morocco Desert Tour from Fez to Merzouga  via the middle Atlas Mountains, Gorges including camel trekking and spending a night in adesert camp.

ITINERARY OUTLINE

DAY 1

Arrival to Fez - Transfer to the hotel

Morocco Desert Tour  will begin upon your arrival at Fez Sais International Airport. Our driver / tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to your hotel / riad

DAY 2 

Fes - Ifrane - Azrou - Middle Atlas Mountains - Todra Gorges

The journey will start after you enjoy your breakfast  at the hotel by Leaving  Fez and heading towards Todra Gorges passing by Ifrane till we arrive to the cedar forest of Azrou where we will stop to take pictures of  the wilderness in Morocco and the wild monkeys . Lunch  will be in a small Berber village named Zaida. After lunch we will continue  through the Atlas Mountains and the landscapes of Medilt till we arrive to a small town called Rich the we will pass through the town of Imilchil before we arrive to Toudra Gorges in the evening. Overnight in a hotel

 DAY 3

Todra Gorges - Jorf - Erfoud - Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Desert)

After you enjoying your breakfast at the hotel we will leave Toudra gorges towards  Merzouga passing by  the Berber villages along the way. We will pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud . At the arrival to Merzouga you will be welcomed with a cup of tea before you check into your hotel . Later on you will  ride the camels through the dunes of erg Chebbi  and you will have a break to experiencing the peacefulness of the desert and enjoy watching the sunset as well as taking pictures . At the arrival to the desert camp dinner will be served under a Berber tent and after you enjoy your dinner the staff will entertain you with local music played with drums around a campfire .

DAY 4

Merzouga - Berber Families - Black Desert - Merzouga

The staff will wake you up early  morning to enjoy an amazing sunrise over the Sahara sand dunes ( Optional ) , after the sunrise  you will ride the camels back towards Merzouga. After having a refreshing shower and enjoying your breakfast  we will drive to explore the villages nearby Erg Chebbi desert dunes such as ( Hassi Labied, Khamlia , M'fis... ) . The first village will be Khamlia which is known as the village of black people who were slaves coming from Sudan,you will be  welcomed with a cup of tea and sweets or peanuts  and you will be entertained with  their spiritual Gnawa music. Afterwards we will leave Khamlia  and our next stop is will be the panoramic view of golden dunes near the Algerian border, we will stop for lunch under the shadow of a tree before continuing to visit a the nomad family where you will be introduced to family members and getting to know about their lifestyle while enjoying a  cup of tea. Later on we will have the chance to visit the sites of black volcanic rocks. continuing on till we will reach the  Yasmina lac . We will back to Merzouga in the evening. Overnight in hotel in Merzouga

DAY 5

Merzouga - Er rissani - Ziz Valley - Azrou - Ifrane - Fes

today we will start our journey to Fes  around 8 am. On our way we will stop to enjoy a cup of tea and take some pictures at Ziz Valley before passing through the Middle Atlas mountains. We will stop at  Midelt where you will have lunch. We will continue to Fes and stop in Ifrane and Azrou (Cedar Forest) to take picture of the monkeys and the wilderness in Morocco   .

DAY 6 

 Fez - Transfer to the Airport

We will transfer you to the airport before you flight and this will be the end of our Morocco Desert Tour
