Luxair connects Marrakech to Luxembourg

Marrakech is strengthening its air links with the Benelux market. The Luxembourg company Luxair launched, on Saturday February 11, 2023, its inaugural flight Luxembourg-Marrakech through two frequencies per week (Saturday and Tuesday). A welcome ceremony for the passengers and operators of this flight was organized by the Marrakech Regional Tourism Council (CRT) in partnership with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the National Airports Office (ONDA) . “This program will undoubtedly strengthen air links to Benelux in addition to air routes: Brussels, Charleroi, Amsterdam, Rotterdam and Eindhoven”, indicates to this effect the Marrakech-Safi Regional Tourism Council. And to recall that “during the year 2022, tourists from Benelux recorded more than 247,000 tourist overnight stays with an increase of +480% compared to 2021 and a recovery rate of 75%”. It should be noted that Marrakech-Menara airport welcomed no less than 6,399,145 passengers during the year 2022, achieving an increase of +77% compared to 2019.
