ITINERARY OUTLINE

DAY 1

Arrival To Marrakech - Transfer to the Hotel

Our Driver / Tour guide will pick you up at the airport and you'll have the day to relax while exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks.

DAY 2

Full Day To Visit Marrakech

Today we will have the full day to explore Marrakech with a local guide from Marrakech . You will get see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, souks, exploring the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens, overnight at a Riad/hotel in Marrakech

DAY 3

Marrakech - High Atlas Mountains - Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou - Ouarzazate - Dades

We will start around 8:00 Am from Marrakech towards Dades Gorges crossing the Tizi-n-Tichka pass with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages, then we continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, you will have lunch near the Kasbah, later on we continue to Ouarzazate where you will visit the Kasbah Taourirt and the Atlas studios and afterwards we continue to Dades gorges through The Roses and Dades valley. Overnight in a raid/hotel in Dades gorges.

DAY 4

Dades Valley - Todra Gorges - Jorf - Erfoud - Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Desert)

We will start around 8:00 Am after you enjoy your breakfast at the hotel, we will drive through the valley to see the amazing rock formation and Kasbah of Ait Yul. Leaving the Dades valley towards Tinghir and the Todra valley you will see the panoramic views of the old mud Berber villages overlooking the valley. Arriving at the Gorges you have a walk under the 300m high red cliff, where many rock climbers come to enjoy their favorite sport. Continuing our journey to Erfoud and Rissani where you will have lunch and afterwards, we will leave for the village of Merzouga . You will be welcomed with a cup of mint tea at your arrival before you check into your hotel .

DAY 5

Merzouga - Berber Families - Black Desert - Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Sahara)

We will start in the morning around 8:00 Am after your enjoy your breakfast in the hotel we will start the exploring journey by visiting the ‘village of the blacks’ Khamlia , originally slaves from Sudan to experience the spiritual Gnawa music and their lifestyle. Not far away from the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also like to visit the nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are made and priced lower than the big cities. In the afternoon you will get to ride a camel to explore the mysterious golden sand dunes of the Erg-Chebbi. at the desert camp you will spend your first night under the stars. Dinner will be served in the desert camp and after you enjoy your dinner you will be entertained with local music played by the staff.

DAY 6

Merzouga - Er rissani - Alnif - Nkob - Agdz - Ouarzazate

In the early morning we will wake you up to enjoy watching the sunrise over the golden Sahara desert sand dunes before we go back riding the camels to Merzouga . After taking a shower and having breakfast in The Hotel we will start our journey to Ouarzazate trough the Berber villages of the atlas mountains . We will arrive to Ouarzazate in the evening

DAY 7

Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

We will start around 8:00 Am after enjoying your breakfast with a visit to the studios, we will cross the High Atlas Mountains via the highest road pass in Morocco Tizni Tichka 2260m offering an impressive view over the valleys, mountains and many Berber villages nearby and we will arrive to Marrakech in the evening.
