Nador: Opening of an investigation against 37 Moroccan travelers suspected of presenting falsified Covid-19 tests

Posted by ALM Date: August 27, 2021 The Nador Judicial Police Brigade on Friday opened an investigation, under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor's office, against 37 travelers of Moroccan nationality suspected of having presented false Covid tests -19. In a press release, the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) indicates that border control procedures and health security arrangements made it possible to stop 36 travelers at the port of Nador and another at the Nador airport. The defendants were subjected to a judicial investigation ordered by the competent prosecutor's office to identify all the people involved in the falsification of medical tests and certificates and to determine all the possible ramifications of these criminal acts, adds the same source. The arrest of the suspects comes as part of the strengthening and tightening of border control measures, in coordination with the medical services and the competent public authorities, in order to firmly fight against the falsification of Covid-19 tests and ensure the health security of all citizens, concludes the DGSN.
