On the occasion of the advent of Aïd Al-Fitr 1444, and in anticipation of the influx of travelers that this period usually experiences, the National Railways Office (ONCF) has set up a transport plan “ Special Eid Al-Fitr” from Monday April 17 to Tuesday April 25, 2023, to ensure the travel of its customers in the best conditions of comfort and safety. This plan provides for the scheduling of 235 trains in circulation each day with a reinforcement on the most popular destinations, namely: Al Boraq: by scheduling an hourly rate almost all day connecting the city of Tangier to Kenitra, Rabat and Casablanca from 7h at 10 p.m. (except 1 p.m.) and by increasing the capacity of the seats offered in the most popular slots. Intercités / Al Atlas: by increasing the capacity of seats and the programming of additional trains on the main axes of the Marrakech-Casa – Fez, Oujda, Nador, Khouribga, Safi rail network. This plan also provides for the reinforcement of the teams responsible for welcoming and directing passengers in the stations and on board the trains, as well as the technical teams who will be mobilized 24/7 to supervise the fluidity of train traffic.
