Relaunch of tourism: RAM and ONMT concretize their partnership

The Royal Air Maroc (RAM) and the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) held a meeting to develop their action plan in order to initiate a rapid recovery of tourist activity in Morocco. Gathered this Thursday at the headquarters of Royal Air Maroc, the teams of the national company and the national actor of promotion of the destination worked on the axes of the partnership signed between the two institutions on June 9th. On the program, reflections and exchanges between the sales forces on the national and international markets of the two institutions in order to implement the strategies and the actions on the ground to be programmed from the second half of the current year. “Today, we were able to strongly reconfirm our partnership with the ONMT. We are resolutely turned towards a new era where the ONMT and the Ram unite their skills. Good air programming is a sine qua none condition for a rapid and sustainable resumption of tourist activity. This is one of our priority missions today,” said RAM CEO Abdelhamid Addou on this occasion. For his part, the general manager of the ONMT, Adel EL Fakir, underlined that this is a “new step in our partnership with Royal Air Maroc. Our common objective is to secure the maximum air capacity to initiate a rapid recovery of tourist activity in Morocco. And we are in the process of putting in place all the necessary measures to achieve this,” underlines Adel El Fakir. It should be recalled that among the main measures of this partnership agreement, the two parties will work to strengthen Morocco's connectivity through the establishment of new point-to-point air links, the objective of which will be to meet market needs by improving the accessibility of the Morocco destination both for the strategic basins of tourists and for the Moroccans of the World. The other axis of partnership concerns the establishment of a common policy in terms of promotion and marketing for the destination.
