Resumption of Morocco-Spain maritime links: here is the temporary health protocol for travelers

The shipping companies that provide connections to Spain from Tangier Med, Tangier city, Nador and Al Hoceima are called upon to resume their activity. Following this announcement, the Ministry of Health unveiled the “temporary” provisions of the health protocol for travelers by sea. “Following the announcement of the immediate and gradual resumption of passenger transport activity by sea, the shipping companies operating the lines serving the Moroccan ports of Tangier Med, Tangier city, Nador and Al Hoceima are called upon to resume their activity”, announces the Ministry of Transport and Logistics. Following this decision, the Ministry of Health sent a letter setting out the health protocol for access to the territory for the attention of the Director of the Merchant Navy. The Ministry indicates that it has adopted temporary provisions for travelers by sea: 1. Passenger health form, to be downloaded online before boarding (also distributed on board the ship), duly completed; And 2. Valid anti-Covid-19 vaccination passport according to the requirements of the country of origin. Residents in Morocco (Moroccans or foreigners) must have a vaccination passport according to the national vaccination protocol; Or 3. Negative result of a PCR test less than 72 hours (time between sampling and recording).
