ITINERARY OUTLINE

DAY 1

Arrival To Marrakesh - Transfer to the Hotel

Our Morocco tour from Marrakesh will start upon your arrival to Marrakesh airport. Our driver / tour guide will pick you up at the airport and Transfer you to the hotel before you start exploring the main square Jemaa el Fnaa and the souks of Marrakech .

DAY 2

Full Day To Visit Marrakesh

Today you will have the full day to visit Marrakech with a local guide from Marrakesh. You will see the famous Mosque of Koutubia, souks and explore Ali Ben Youssef Koranic school, the Bahia Palace and Majorelle Gardens. Overnight at a Riad / Hotel in the Marrakech

DAY 3

Marrakech - Essaouira

Today you will have a day trip to Essaouira . We will drive aboout 175 km away from Marrakech where you will get to see the goats on trees on the way to this medieval city which is known for its annual festival of Gnaoua music. The UNESCO considers the city to be an international heritage. There are many other things to enjoy during your visit to Essaouira such as its pleasant weather, Moulay El Hassan square , La Skala,the port, the ramparts, and the Jewish district 'Derb Lealouj'. thanks to the ocean breeze, Essaouira benefits from a cool temperature around the year . Overnight in Essaouira.

DAY 4

Essaouira - Safi - El Oualidia

Depart for Oualidia after you enjoy your breakfast at the hotel . Stop in Safi, Famous as the centre of sardine exports, Safi is well known for its pottery. Arrive and relax in Oualidia, a small seaside village with a protected lagoon, and wild Atlantic Ocean right on the doorsteps. Fishing, swimming, kayaking and surfing are some of the activities you can enjoy in Oualidia.

DAY 5

Oualidia - Jadida - Casablanca - Rabat

Depart for Rabat will be after you enjoy your breakfast and continue the journey alongside the Atlantic Coast. Pass through El Jadida, a small port city which is now a UNESCO World Heritage site . We will stop in Casablanca to visit Mohammed V square and the impressive mosque of Hassan II. Explore the Imperial City of Rabat, visit the Mechouar (the ramparts and walls surrounding the Royal Palace), the majestic Mohammed V Mausoleum, the Hassan Tower, and the Oudaya Kasbah, overlooking the Atlantic Ocean and offering fabulous views, as well as being home to Moroccan artisan galleries. DAY 6

Rabat - Asilah - Tangier (North Of Morocco)

Depart for Tangier will start after you enjoy your breakfast with a drive along the coastal road. We will visit Asilah which is a peaceful coastal town with its whitewashed walls and many murals. Tangier, known as the bride of the north the gateway to Africa . We will tour Tangier and explore the bustling Medina, the city surroundings and enjoy the amazing view where the Mediterranean and Atlantic oceans meet.

DAY 7

Tangier - Rif Mountains - Chefchaouen

Depart for Chefchaouen will take place after you enjoy your breakfast at the hotel passing through the green valleys of the Rif Mountains. Chefchaouen is famous for its blue homes and its a very popular spot for both travlers around the world and the Moroccans themselves , mostly in the hot weather of summer when it becomes an escape from the heat. We will explore Chefchaouen and its narrow alleys ,souks and Relax in the square, visit a local farm or hike in nearby parks.

DAY 8

Chefchaouen - Volubilis - Meknes - Fes

Depart for Fes will begin after having breakfast with a scenic drive from the Rif Mountains through the fertile agricultural hills to the Roman Ruins at Volubilis which is an open air museum . We will continue to Meknes, the Moroccan imperial cities and the 17th century heritage where we will stop for lunch and explore the historical tall walls of the medina. After launch, we will visit Bab el Mansour and enjoy a visit of Moulay Ismail’s shrine . after the visit of Meknes we will drive towards to Fes city where you will spend the night.

DAY 9

A Full Day To Explore Fes

Today we will have the full day to explore Fez with a local tour guide from Fez which was considered Mecca of the west and Athena of Africa.It is the second largest city after Casablanca with a population of approximately 1 million.This city is a the cultural capital of Morocco and one of the country's imperial cities. Fez comprises three distinct parts, Fez el Bali which is the oldest part surrounded by a huge wall, where are more than 9000 narrow streets and allies. Fez Jdid or the new Fes, home of the Mellah the Jewish quarter and the newest section of Fez created during the French occupation.Fez el Bali is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Among its narrow streets and allies, the oldest university in the world ,The University of Al-Karaouine, founded in AD 859 and is still operates till this day .

DAY 10

Fes – Ifrane – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga

After having breakfast at the hotel we will drive to Todra Gorges, passing through Ifrane and we will stop at the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located and this will be a good opportunity to take pictures of the wilderness in Morocco. Lunch will be in a small village named Zaida. After lunch we continue the journey through the Atlas Mountains admiring the landscapes of Medilt till we reach Erfoud in which you will start to feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet . You will welcomed with a cup of tea at you arrival to Merzouga before you check into your hotel where you will spend the night

DAY 11

Merzouga - Berber Families - Merzouga (Camel Ride & Night in Sahara)

After enjoying your breakfast at the hotel you will start by visiting the village of the Khamlia, originally slaves from Sudan to experience their spiritual Gnawa music and lifestyle and visit the lake of Merzouga. If you are a fan of the handicrafts you may want to visit the berber nomad wire house where many Berber handicrafts are made and priced lower than the big cities. In the afternoon you will ride the camels to explore the mysterious sand dunes of the Erg-Chebbi where you will spend your first night under the stars. Dinner will be served in a desert camp and after you enjoy your dinner the staff will entertain by playing local music with the drums .

DAY 12

Merzouga - Erfoud - Todra Gorges - Dades

The staff will wake you up in the early morning to enjoy the stunning sunrise over the sand dunes of the Sahara Desert . After the sunrise you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you will have a refreshing shower and breakfast. Later on we depart towards Tinghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Afer we stop for lunch we will continue to Todra gorges via Tinghir. Stopping along the way for pictures and admiring the views. Arrival to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons . Afterwards, we will drive to dades and stopping for panoramic view of dades valley which will be a good opportunity to take pictures . Overnight in a hotel

DAY 13

Dades Gorges - Ouarzazate - High Atlas Mountains - Marrakech

Around 8:00 am after you enjoy your breakfast we will start with a drive to Ouarzazate . Stopping for panoramic view of the kasbah of Taourirt then another stop for pictures near the atlas film studios. Later on you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Benhaddou and stop for lunch in a local restaurant . In the Afternoon we will drive to Marrakech across the mountains of high Atlas passing through the Tizi N’tichka pass (2260 m in altitude)
