The Minister of Tourism, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, thus stopped on the levers specific to the Souss-Massa region, as well as on the positioning of the region on 6 tourist sectors which concern the seaside, the first vocation of the region, the nature, business tourism and the two sectors entirely dedicated to internal tourism. Particular importance has been given to tourist accommodation establishments in difficulty and closed which are currently the subject of close work by the ministry and the Moroccan Society of Tourism Engineering. In this context, the Minister called for the mobilization of investors and banks to increase the hotel capacity of the destination. She also sensitized the actors of the region to fully engage in the roadmap, noting that the region has a strong entrepreneurial culture in tourism among young people. The other institutions and professionals present at this meeting emphasized the contribution of this leading tourist destination to strengthening the role of tourism in socio-economic inclusion.
