The Moroccan National Tourist Office and the National Confederation of Tourism signed, on Friday April 15, 2022, in Casablanca, an agreement covering several key aspects for recovery. Morocco is working to strengthen the attractiveness of the tourism sector, by acting both on its internal aspect and on innovation. To this end, a partnership agreement has just been signed between the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) and the National Confederation of Tourism (CNT). This convention will have as main initiatives, the creation of two Task Forces aimed at strengthening the presence of the Morocco destination with international travel prescribers. In addition, this partnership will allow the two parties to unify their efforts in order to form a strike force vis-à-vis international competition and to initiate the challenges of relaunching the tourism sector at national and international level. The Office and the Confederation are also committed to working to strengthen domestic tourism, by pooling their expertise to develop innovative and practical solutions to problems related to distribution. Finally, the ONMT's mission is to support the digitization of the sector by training newly digitized operators in digital marketing and by raising awareness of the importance of Big Data and presence on the web.
